Sari Soininen

Sari Soininen (b.1991) is an internationally recognised Finnish photographer.

Sari holds an MA in photography from UWE Bristol (2021), BA from Lahti Institute of Design (2014), and she carried out exchange studies in Edinburgh College of Art (2013).

​Her colourful otherworldly photography draws from philosophical thoughts and personal, mystical experiences. Her interest is in providing the viewer with alternative ways of seeing the world and reality around them.

​After completing her BA degree Sari began a career in graphic design, event photography and animation. In 2019 she decided to pursue fine art photography and started her masters.

In the spring of 2021 Sari graduated from UWE Bristol with distinction and ever since has been gaining recognition internationally. She has had work in publications and exhibitions in countries like France, South Korea, The United Kingdom, Italy, Denmark, Finland, Greece and Holland. In the Autumn on 2022 Sari’s first book “Transcendent Country of the Mind” will be published by The Eriskay Connection.
